Portrait Photography

A portrait should feel like a person, not a pose.

I have spent more than 20 years photographing people and learning to recognize the instant when expression, light, and presence come together. The strongest photographs do more than document how someone looked. They preserve something true about who that person was in the moment.

My experience as a filmmaker shapes the way I photograph. I pay attention to gesture, atmosphere, and the quiet moments between the expected ones. I work with a calm, observant approach that allows people to remain natural while every frame stays visually intentional.
